Old Sarum Tattoo 2023
Year Round-Up

A little update from us and what we hope to bring in 2024.

As we welcome in 2024 we wanted to take some time to look back at some of our personal highlights for 2023. Also what we hope to achieve and bring to you for the new year!

We want to say a huge thank you for your continued support in 2023. It has been a pleasure to tattoo, pierce and laser everyone that has come in to the studio, we hope to see you all again in 2024.

2023 has been a great year for me, I’ve gotten to tattoo a lot of chicano style pieces which is what I’d like to do more of. I also had the chance to work away at Download, Black Deer and get in a few guest spots around the country which has been a lot of fun.

For 2024 I’d like to continue doing more chicano style pieces and also tattoo in more places around the UK at guest spots and events.

2023 has been my favourite year so far in my 4 years of tattooing. I have had the opportunity to explore and expand my style thanks to my customer base.

For 2024 I would like to carry on meeting new clients and creating more beautiful pieces for people.

I am just happy to have survived 2023, I even managed to finish an entire sleeve from start to finish. I’m grateful that I’ve had the opportunity to work outside of the studio this year, I attended my first convention and was able to do a guest spot at True Love Tattoos in Norwich.

For next year, I’d like to continue surviving. I’d also like to take on more of the following:

  • Embroidery Pieces
  • Anime Style Demon/Clown/Cyborg Faces
  • Watercolour Florals
  • Brushwork Pieces
  • Large Scale Geometric/Mandala Stuff

I have really enjoyed my first full year of tattooing. I’ve had the opportunity to try different styles of tattooing and have found a passion for fine line and mini-realism tattooing. It’s been fun getting to know my clients and working with them to create beautiful tattoos.

For next year I’m excited to continue learning more about tattooing and hope to do more ornamental and mini-realism pieces. I am also hoping to work outside the studio more at festivals and tattoo events.

This year was my first year of tattooing out of my apprenticeship, which was very nerve racking, but I’ve been lucky to build up a really good client base that have been really supportive of my work. I’ve loved every minute of tattooing that I’ve had the opportunity to do this year and I can’t wait to do more amazing designs that you guys request!

For 2024 I’m hoping to tattoo more black work designs, I’ve been drawing up designs ready to push them in the new year. I’ll continue to work and gain more knowledge in tattooing and hopefully tattoo at a convention.

I have worked on some fantastic curations throughout the year, visited multiple conferences and events across the uk and Germany. I was published in a magazine and interviewed for a podcast.

I am excited for more growth traveling and working alongside my amazing clients to make more piercing magic in the new year.
