Tattoos and live music have always gone hand in hand, and Old Sarum Tattoo brings that connection to life at the UK’s biggest festivals. Our fully licensed on-site tattoo studios offer festival-goers the chance to get exclusive, artist-endorsed flash tattoos in a safe, professional and high-energy environment.
From Download Festival to Silverstone, we have worked with festival organisers and sponsors to create one-of-a-kind tattoo activations that enhance the festival experience. Whether it’s a branded activation, a themed flash collection or a fully operational tattoo booth, we bring expertise, engagement, and an unforgettable attraction to any festival.
In 2025 we returned to Download Festival for our 12th year, bringing a huge team of 45 working tattoo artists to 6 on site tattoo studios. We had over 200 Download and musician themed designs available to choose from. We also offered full second skin aftercare for the entire weekend with dedicated aftercare specialists in each studio, to ensure the best aftercare possible while at the event.
2025 was our 6th year at the amazing Bloodstock Open Air, we had two on site studios; main arena and backstage. We had over 100 Bloodstock and heavy metal themed tattoos that were available for the full weekend. We also brought a dedicated aftercare team to provide a comprehensive second skin aftercare service that was available to use throughout the event.
We specialise in merch stores and tour-based tattooing, offering pop-up stores that travel alongside the tours, allowing fans to get official band merchandise and exclusive, band-endorsed flash tattoos.
Past collaborations include award-winning global artists such as Metallica, KoRn, Avenged Sevenfold, and more, plus touring with artists such as Bowling For Soup and Black Stone Cherry, giving fans the chance to get unique, artist-approved tattoos at every date on their UK tour.
