Founded in 2012 by Darren Hubbard, Old Sarum Tattoo established itself early on as one of the UK’s most respected tattoo studios – built on exceptional artistry, professionalism and uncompromising standards. From the outset, our ambition extended beyond the studio walls.
In 2014, we became the first tattoo studio to bring fully licensed, professional tattooing into the UK festival environment, beginning with Download Festival. This marked the start of a new chapter – not just for us, but for live events. As festival tattooing grew, we led its evolution, developing scalable, compliant tattoo operations that could operate at the highest level within the music industry.
Today, we specialise in exclusive, artist-endorsed flash tattoos, created in direct collaboration with bands, festivals, and partners – giving fans the opportunity to leave with a permanent, meaningful connection to the moment. Alongside this, we deliver limited-edition merchandise activations, available only at live events, ensuring authenticity, rarity, and cultural relevance.
